About

About the blog

I’ve dabbled in different businesses, but failed miserably in my first few attempts. Two years ago, I started a graphic & web design business. Although it is by far the most successful business I have ever had, I still have a lot to learn & many areas to grow. I started this blog four months ago to document my personal journey and growth as a work at home mom. In the process, I have found that being a work at home mom is very stressful, and baking has become very therapeutic for me (I bake a lot). So, I decided to focus this blog on baking therapy for the work at home mom. I plan on sharing my successes and failures of being a work at home mom, recommending resources that have helped me, & providing a great baking recipe here & there.

About me

I am a follower of Jesus. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for over 4 years. [Two years after he asked me out, we finally went on our first date.] We have two girls & a boy, ages 3, 2, & 1 (respectively). You’ll hear me refer to them as Miss Boo (3 yr old), Miss Cakes (2 yr old ) & Lil’ Man (1 yr old). I’m a dreamer with new ideas forming all the time, and I have a passion for all things design.

My husband & I would like to have a Bed & Breakfast someday {when our kids are grown} with a bakery & coffee shop. I would love, love, love to take classes at Le Courdon Bleu or The French Culinary Institute.
